(Pronounced: kayad meele folicha)

The traditional Gaelic greeting which means
"A hundred thousand welcomes."

The Celts respect the significance of the welcome as a threshold or rite of passage. Among Celts there is a wide recognition of the significance of chance meetings and random events (synchronicities), with a renowned openness to new experiences, opportunities and people. Characterized by the expansive and generous nature of this phrase "cead mile failte".

"Each friend represents a world in us, a world possibly not born until they arrive."

A part of history.. a part of us.. the root of the creations

Since its foundation in 1969, Wild Goose Studio has sought its inspiration in Ireland's history, poetry and mythology.

From the beginning, a group of skilled craft-workers in Kinsale, Co. Cork has maintained the tradition of high quality as the range of images has grown.  The early experimental spirit of Brian Scott-McCarthy and Kathleen Smyth remains to this day as Wild Goose broadens its horizons and expands its offering of award-winning gifts for friends, family and for you.
